BOLD JOURNEY MAGAZINE INTERVIEW WITH Tasha-Nicole Terani

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tasha-Nicole Terani. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tasha-Nicole below.

Hi Tasha-Nicole, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

Self-care means knowing what your mind and body need to operate successfully. These things go hand and hand. Mind and body need to work in harmony together. I like to think of them as equals. I care for them equally and I strive to keep them in good balance.

Self-care is what sets you up for a productive day! For me, having a daily routine is what keeps me spontaneous! It sounds contradictory, but my daily routine and habits are what ultimately allow me to be spontaneous.

It’s all about creating the momentum for success each day! Because days turn into months and months turn into a year. Next thing you know you’ve been successful for years! It’s all hidden in your daily routine. Consistency leads to success. I start by waking up early and going on a 4 mile walk. My walk is crucial for my day. It not only sets my body into motion, it sets my mind into motion! By 9 o’clock, I’ve already set myself up for success. The more I can get done before 9 am, the more spontaneous I can be later. Daily habits and routine in your day forces accountability. Not everyone has motivators surrounding them on a daily basis. Most people have to motivate themselves. For me, I have discovered a way to manipulate and motivate myself through these daily habits and routines. Accomplishing one little thing at a time creates a flow of successes. These mini successes are slowly but surely building your confidence. When your confidence is high, you can accomplish anything.

By the next morning you will want that feeling all over again! This method of self-care never fails me. Only I can fail it, and I rarely do. The key is to create successful days, which ultimately add up to a successful year.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Having two companies and several passion projects takes focus. The TNT Soccer Training System LLC. and the Every Child’s Dream Foundation 501 c3 are my main focus. I do like to break soccer world records on the side to prove how well my soccer training techniques work! Currently, I have 9 world records in soccer.

I travel often as a United Nations Special Envoy for International Youth soccer. Recently, I was in Qatar for the World Cup. I was invited to train the kids of several dignitaries. I got the chance to witness the greatest World Cup Final ever! My latest passion project is my children’s book series. A Tree for Me is the first book in my series and it is on track to be published later this year. A Tree for Me is about the journey we all take to find unconditional love. What we learn along the way is that the love we seek from the outside world must first be found and nurtured from within! Both of my companies and all of my passion projects were built on the foundation of wanting to help children. This seems to be a recurring theme in my life!

The TNT Soccer System is a unique soccer training system that I created in 2012. TNT Soccer System is currently a global company, selling products and soccer training worldwide.

TNT Soccer training is available via streaming. Kids around the world can train with me with the click of a button!

The TNT method is simple. Watch it, learn it and live it! I believe kids learn quicker when they see an example in front of them.Rather than just telling them what to do or how to make moves. You have to show them! When they watch you do it, they start to believe and visualize themselves doing the same thing. Trust in them and they will rise to the occasion. Don’t tell them, show them! Don’t direct them, guide them!

TNT is unique in that everything is done with great intent and passion. Every touch and effort in practice matters, as does every effort in life. TNT is more about building confidence than scoring goals! When the confidence is there, the goals will come. People always ask me how a kid who has only worked with me once or twice is suddenly scoring goals? They think it’s a specific drill or a new technique! What I share with them is that it’s all about my belief in my students.

Some of them don’t need to work on their shot on goal, they just need confidence. They need someone to believe in them. Someone who knows they have a great shot and maybe they’re just holding it back. With kids you gotta help them reveal and release the talent at the right moment. You can’t push them, just elevate them. Creating a balance between what the kids actual athletic ability is and what his mind thinks it is.

Our products are all based around building confidence. Our products include, soccer training via streaming, confidence cards, confidence cones and confidence bracelets. The next project for TNT Soccer System is building a training facility/stadium where kids from around the world can have live access to my training in a state of the art soccer arena.

The nonprofit! The Every Child’s Dream Foundation 501 c3 has been sending specialty care packages for over 15 years. We’ve reached 98 countries and every state in the United States. Our care packages include vital supplies, hygienic products, first aid, clothing, blankets and teddy bears, school supplies and much more. We cater to orphanages, hospitals, foster care agencies, shelters and disaster relief efforts worldwide.

Having been an abandoned baby myself, I always knew I’d start this nonprofit. I can’t imagine my life without it. This year we have some big donations planned for the United States!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

There are three key factors which helped me to elevate my life. Focusing on something I already knew I was great at! Discipline and consistency.

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?

I do strongly believe one should focus on their strengths. Pursuing a job or starting a business based on their natural abilities and true passion.I’d say go all in on your strengths and crush it. Then go back and fine tune yourself and learn new things. Chase the dream, not the money. Strive to fall in line with your destiny and everything will start clicking into place.

I’ve learned over time that the more I accept and nurture my natural abilities, the more opportunities seem to open up for me.
